I'm thinking about trying to generate some income by serializing my as-yet-unpublished memoir 20 Years in Hollywood: Tales to Tell as a paid subscription. The subscription fee would be affordable, $8 a month. Subscribers would get two excerpts a month of about 1,000 words each. Substack recommends posting more often, but I personally think less is more. I'd rather have you be delighted to see a post from me than feel overwhelmed by too many.
